What's John up to?

Work

John currently works for the USPS as a mail carrier. He is on call so he goes in when they call and on Saturdays. He also tutors math at the newest university in Utah - UVU for about 10 hours a week.

John has gone through some preliminary training to become a fireman and is registered to attend fire school in October in hopes of making firefighting a career.

Church

Currently he serves as the Elder's Quorum President in his ward. He loves singing with the Ward choir every Sunday. In addition to studying the scriptures, he has been enjoying going through the Preach My Gospel manual again. John attends the temple at least once a month and is always excited when he finds new information on our ancestors.

Exercise/Recreation

John tries to exercise at least 3 times a week, whether it is lifting weights, swimming, shooting hoops, running, etc.

John's "free" time

John and Elisa are trying to get one of their rooms ready for their baby coming in December. They are trying to think of good names. (If anyone has some good ideas let them know.) He has some great friends in their ward that he likes to socialize with. He's trying to organize all the food recipes that they've received over the past 4 years. He's also trying to study to pass the ham radio test. He likes visiting with the family in the area when they are available. John just got a Weber Grill, and hope to do more cooking on it in the near future.
